Ten long years ago the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) came out: “Iron Man.” Theaters everywhere were flooded with Marvel fans ready to watch the film.

From the day “Iron Man” was released into theaters, it made fans from all the over the world want more and more MCU movies to come out. And so, only months apart, more did. “The Incredible Hulk” came out in theaters and two years later “Iron Man 2” was released.

Over the years, more movies like “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Thor,” “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age Of Ultron,” “Guardians Of The Galaxy,” “Black Panther,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and many more flooded into theaters like a tsunami.

With the MCU advancing on to the second decade of movies, the Russo Brothers chose to end the first decade with a big bang with the name for Avengers 4 being “Avengers: Endgame.”

With “Avengers: Endgame” coming to theaters around the globe, many actors like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, and many more will be retiring from their roles they played in the MCU. They will be missed by many because in their minds, those actors were perfect for their roles in the MCU.

“I think it’s going to be similar to when Harrison Ford retired from Star Wars, and during the production of ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ Alden Ehrenreich was cast as the role of Han Solo,” said junior Xavier Sullivan. “Fans were upset as the actors they had known for so long, and the faces they associate with a particular character are different.”

“I think that it’s good for the overall franchise because they will be able to move onto new and maybe even better things for the fans,” added  junior Neil Terrell.

You should expect many people to cry during the film as some fan favorites are rumored to die within the film. Am I to say they’re true? No, but you never know what the MCU has is store for their fans.

MCU fans will also remember the creator of the MCU and his cameos within the movies of his creations. Thank you Stan Lee, may you Rest In Peace.
