Everyone loves a bargain–especially when money is tight. But, people also cherish their fond memories and are willing to pay for them. So, like a good PB & J, when these two elements come together, it’s the perfect combo.
Elkhart High School’s Yearbook Sale is definitely the PB & J of sales this fall! Offering students the opportunity to purchase a 2025 yearbook at a lower price than will be available in November, they are also offering a bonus discount to students still wishing to purchase their 2024 yearbook–or any year prior to that. Yearbook advisor Mrs. Amy Stine says, “Consumers can buy the 2024-2025 yearbook now for the lowest price of the year. One can also purchase the 2021-2022, 2022-2023, or 2023-2024 yearbook for $40.” Stine notes that this offer expires on Oct. 28, so it’d be worth purchasing now.
Junior yearbook editor Zoe Brenneman says, “Students should take advantage of this sale because right now is the lowest price for the yearbook, and buyers get another 50% discount off of previous years, which is a steal!” This sale is quite beneficial for buyers. The yearbook staff’s inventory of previous yearbooks will begin to decrease as the sale goes on. She adds, “In all honesty, we only have a handful of books left from previous years, and when they are gone, they are gone for good.” The Elkhart Freshman Division is included in the yearbook, so it is possible for their students to purchase their own long-lasting memories.
Sophomore Thomas Asbury is among those whose has taken advantage of sale. Juniors Lydia Benjamin, Ashley Davis, and Rowan Fann also did–and are collectively grateful for this yearbook sale. To date, the yearbook staff has sold 180+ yearbooks and are 40 ahead of last year. However, the yearbook staff is more interested in making this an affordable opportunity than in merely securing numbers.
Senior Amariah Jennings thinks that this sale is spectacular for students who want to invest in the yearbook. She says, “I haven’t purchased a yearbook, but it’s definitely worth it. It’s a great bargain, and it’s recommended students should purchase it now.” See Mrs. Amy Stine in C-127 with any questions. Buyers can also order their yearbooks at www.jostens.com.
As with all sales, this is a limited-time offer. And, like the sale, high school itself will be over in the blink of an eye. However, the memories captured within each page of each book yearbook will last a lifetime.
