Niall Horan: Teasing About “Heaven”

He’s such a tease. Niall Horan, former member of One Direction turned solo artist, has been recently teasing a possible third album!
After releasing his second album, Heartbreak Weather, in 2020, fans were put into radio silence until just recently. On Dec. 19, 2022, Horan posted a video of him humming the melody of a supposed new single. The teasing of this new song continued on, eventually starting to leak bits and pieces of the lyrics. Some fans may find this teasing maddening, but others, such as Trenton Jacobs a junior at Elkhart High, find the album teasing rather enjoyable. “The teases are so intriguing, and they create an exciting suspense for me,” he notes. “It also makes the hype for the album grow more, and I can tell that it’s gonna be a great album!”
Not only is Horan teasing and giving fans small sneak-peeks at the album on TikTok, but he has also created a website called heavenwontbethesame.com that fans can access. The website showed a burning candle that melted a little more each day. Continuing the candle theme, Horan and his team also sent out candles to fans to create more excitement and commotion for the upcoming album. But, some fans have been wondering what the connection is with Horan’s album and these mysterious candles. Jacobs theorizes that the candles may be a connection to something in his personal life. “I feel like these candles may be hinting that this album will have a deeper meaning behind it,” he explains.
Then, on Jan. 26, the website’s candle burned out, and Niall Horan released the exciting news that his new single, Heaven, will be released Feb. 17. Fans were ecstatic about this news, especially considering the new snippets of the song that have been coming out. “I love the small snippets of the song, and I am super excited for Heaven. I cannot wait any longer for it!”Jacobs admits. “I’m personally ready for the whole album to drop right now.”
Unfortunately, the release date for the album has not yet been announced, but with the release of the single coming up, fans can only hope that it is sooner than they think!

I was a huge one direction fan so that fact alone drew me to this article. As I kept reading I realized I hadn’t really kept up with all the former members of the band. This article was so well written and the opening was amazing! You also did a great job at keeping this article engaging and fun to read the whole way though. I hope to see more future articles done this way.

The little opening paragraph was such a good hook, and it got me really invested to read the rest of the story! I can also personally agree that I was very excited to hear his single when it first dropped and even more excited for the album!
