Stranger Things: Back Into The Upside Down

Sometimes, things get stranger.

Stranger Things has always been a worldwide phenomenon. From Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers, the first episode of the show, fans have been on the edge of their seats. Now, six years later, Season 4 of the show will finally be airing, leaving watchers to wonder what is to come.

Earlier this month, Netflix released the first 8 minutes of the first episode: The Hellfire Club. This left fans even more ecstatic, such as Lilliana Godfrey, a sophomore at Elkhart High. “The first 8 minutes really got me hyped since we got to see new content,” she explains. “I won’t spoil it, but I will say it was definitely interesting.” Fans also got the new season’s action-packed trailer, getting fans incredibly excited and wondrous for what’s to come.

Netflix also mentioned that the new season will be released in two separate parts: Volume One, which is going to be released May 27, and Volume Two, which will be released July 1. Fans question how this will turn out for the show. All have mixed opinions on what to expect. “I think it will definitely keep us on our toes and keep us more excited!” Godfrey exclaims. “While it’s a new idea that Stranger Things hasn’t done before, I’m interested to see how it goes.”

Season 5 of Stranger Things was also announced earlier, as well. There have been rumors swirling about the 4th and 5th seasons. “I’ve heard they leave us on a cliff hanger this season, and I don’t think fans would be too happy if they ended the series like that,” Godfrey explains. She goes on to mention that, because fans had been left with no content from the Stranger Things series due to COVID, they hope that the 5th season comes out soon after the new 4th season.

Excited for what is to come, fans all sit anxiously awaiting the new season. This new season is sure to turn fans’ minds upside down. “I think I can speak for all the fans when I say we are super excited for Season 4,” Godfrey concludes. “I am expecting big things for this season and expecting to be mind blown.”
